denyhosts software package provides Utility to help sys admins thwart SSH crackers, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install denyhosts
denyhosts is installed in your system.
Make ensure the denyhosts package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep denyhosts *
You will get with denyhosts package name, version, architecture and description in a table
